I'm so spoiled

So basically i know i say this all the time but i LOVE it here. I love my hermanas and i love my teachers and i love my zone and i love sitting in a desk all day and i love learning spanish and i love waking up at 6:30, i love the meltdowns, and the laughs, i just love it all!!!!  So about the "Im so spoiled"  its true.  so our sunday devotional we had janice kapp perry came and talked to us. and her husband is sitting on the stand with her. She then starts to tell a story about how her hubby asked her out the first time. They were both in a clarinet class and she was sucking on her reed to soften it and he taps her on the arm and says "Hey i was thinking, i think those lips were made for more than just playing the clarinet!" haha and when she says that the whole MTC went nuts! and then her hubby stood up and does a double fist to the air and walks over to janice kap perry and gives her a big kiss on the lips!! haha in front of all of us!! you should have heard it! it was like some football team just made the winning touch down or something!! after one of my comps was like "we all went so crazy because we are all so starved for physical affection" and in my head im like, ya my family hugs each other every night... ;) im starved.  Really tho it was the funniest thing ever!!! Then after that devotional. So you know how im besties with the kitchen manager? he took our pic? well he talked to us one day and my comps told him how they miss cafe rio salad more than anything and so guess what he brought us for dinner one night!!! CAFE RIO SALAD!!! it was the best! haha we walk into the cafeteria and he looks at us and he is like come here. and he tells us to go sit in the corner cause he has something for us. needless to say we inhaled it in a matter of minutes. we transformed into wild hungry pigs for a minute there. but we are all back to normal now:) Oooooo it was the best!! the elders in our zone were so mad. but there wasn't enough to share. IM SO SPOILED!!  So because missionaries leave and come every week guess how many elders and sisters i have in my zone right now.... 18 elders and 4 hermanas. haha they all have to walk us home every night and lets just say that i think i feel safe. :) It was a great week! im learning lots and i love it here!  I love you all and pray for you every night!!  the gospel is true and of this i testify! proud to be a caveman (week 2)

ok so this week was awesome! so the spanish is coming along i still don't know very much but its fun learing my comps and i play a game every day called la nativa (the native) and we draw to see who the native is but its all secret so we all try to convince eachother that we are the native that day by speaking as much spanish as possible:) its fun. but our teacher told us that we all sound like cavewomen... hahah proud to be a caveman yo. represent. we to should eat today. we to speak with our teacher. thats what we sound like a guess haha:) he told us that on saturday and on sundays we all have to write a talk for sacrament meeting (sacrament meeting is all in spanish so we have to write our talks in espanol) and we wont know who is going to be speaking till we are sitting in the building and our pres announces it over the pulpit! so saturday night we prepare our talks for the next day and then sunday comes and guess what our branch pres tells us?!?! THAT OUR MISSION PRESIDENT IS GOING TO BE COMING TO SACRAMENTMEETING WITH US!!! because we are getting a new pres in july all the new mission presidents and their wives come to the MTC for training so we got to meet them and talk with them! anyways back to sacrament it was a really great day getting to meet them and let me tell you that my mission pres wife is what i imagine alisha harris would be like if she was from argentina!! exactly the same person, except a different language so thats nice:) i love them both already and the mission president told me how to say:  im hungry.  so i already like him:) yo tengo hambre .... i think thats how you spell it. 

anways so after we meet them and are talking in spanglish because they know a little english and we know a little spanish but lets be real here we were basically just playing charades. We bring them to sacrament meeting with just our zone right so theres supposed to be the mission branch presidency and the like 12 people that are in our zone... but i walk into the room and there are about 6 new mission presidents and their wives in that room!!?? i guess its cause they knew that my zone is the most celestial thats why they came to ours:)  anyways so we have real life pros at espanol in the room so im nervous! whos going to be giving the talks?! we sit down and start and guess who my branch pres chooses to talk for sacrament meeting.. ME!! i knew it was coming tho the holy ghost prepared me so i wouldn't just die of nervousness so that was good. So i get up there and i talk about the holy ghost all in spanish! and it looked like everyone understood me:) i even made them all laugh because my spanish is just that good! (not) they laughed at how i didn't know the word for quite so i said it in english haha. But i feel like i did well and all the mission presidents and their wives told me that i did a great job and that my spanish is good:) but i bet i sounded like a caveman and they are just too nice to say that:)

the we had lunch with our mission pres and his wife and that was so fun our little spanglish/ cherades conversation was priceless and i love them both so much!! it will be nice when we get off the plane in argentina and we have already met our presidents:) tender mercy.

Ok so i really flippen love this place...!! i had a headache the whole day from stress and probably from smiling so big all day long. i think its illegal in some countries for people to smile like i was :) so first of my comp is the best. she has natural curly hair like me and she is 21. she is like an older sis to me and my other comps are just as great we laugh all the time i seriously have never laughed so hard everyday of my life and my teacher is the best thing ever! she is just the BOMB!! i know ive said that everyone is the best like 10 times but im serious! so i am on west campus and its nice there because in our rooms we have 2 per room insead of llike 6 or 4:) so thats nice and we get to walk outside all the time so that helps with my love for the outdoors:)

So about the spanish--- it the best language in the whole world! its so hard and the more i learn the more i realize i dont know but duolingo helped me out so much! i know the most spanish so far out of all my comps and when they have a question they ask me so that makes me feel good but its still hard to learn. but i can pray and bear my testimony in spanish so thats awesome! i feel cool.

So we were teaching our investigator patricio and i dont know all the words to say and some times when he asks a question im like .....whaaaa !!! despacio por favor. anyways when i don't know what word to say i just add and "O" to the end of it:) hehe so we were talking about baptism and he was like how do you guys do it in your church? do you do it in a river? and i was like no we get baptised in a  agua en el grande .... tubo....fonto.... and im motioning with my hands showing him how big the tubo of water is and i look at him and he is thinking "who is this girl" and i look and my comp and she is doing everything she can do not bust out laughing... so it was great we eventually got the point across. but funny thing of the day.

I AM LOVING IT!!!!

I'm alive and I love it!! It's been super overwhelming today but I love it and I'm so happy here. My comp is the bomb. She is basically my soul sister. I knew my host that picked me up from my mish prep class at Logan :) Tender Mercy :)
Someone put the first week in an analogy "it's like trying to drink water out of a fire hydrant."
Yup.
But I love it! I couldn't stop smiling. I'm finally a missionary!
I got my return date! December 1st 2015 (Just so you know.)
My companion is awesome and the hermanas in my district are the best! I am at Rain Tree and everyone speaks/and are learning Spanish so I basically walk around saying "Hola" to everyone! It's a utopia at this place! The Church is true!
